What do I do when someone passes away?
Firstly, you don’t need to have anything figured out. Call us on (08) 7221 2633 and one of our caring funeral directors will guide you through the process.
Once we know where your loved one is and what has happened, we’ll take care of the practical steps and be right by your side the whole time. We’ll liaise with the hospital, the coroner (if required), or the aged care facility on your behalf.

How do I know what kind of funeral is right for me?
It’s completely normal not to know.
Some families come in with very clear wishes. Some have never had the conversation, and they’re unsure what’s right for them. Our job is to listen to what’s important to you and your loved one, and to help you plan a funeral service that feels right for you. If you need some help deciding, you’re always welcome to contact us, and we’ll guide you through your options.
There’s no one-size-fits-all. There’s just what feels right for you.

What if I don’t want a traditional funeral?
This is more common than you might think.
Embrace Funerals offers everything from quiet, family-only gatherings, to garden ceremonies, beachside farewells, or even no service at all. We can arrange direct cremations, memorials weeks after, or anything in between.

What legal documents do I need to organise?
Not many. Embrace Funerals will guide you through all the paperwork - from the death certificate to cremation or burial permits. You won’t need to chase forms or government offices. We take care of that on our end, so you can focus on what matters.

Can you help with cultural or religious traditions?
Absolutely. All cultures, religions and traditions are welcome at Embrace Funerals.

Can I see what’s included in a service before I commit to something?

We provide full breakdowns of every service we offer: what’s included, what’s optional, and what everything costs. If something doesn’t fit your needs or budget, we’ll help find a way to honour your person, with zero selling or pressure.
