I started Embrace Funerals to provide a calmer & gentler way for Adelaide families to say goodbye to the people they love.
I spent more than a decade working with some of Adelaide's largest funeral homes before starting Embrace Funerals. During that time, I fell in love with caring for families during one of life’s most difficult times. However, I also saw too many families treated like a transaction. They were rushed into decisions, upsold at every step and kept in the dark throughout the process.
So I started Embrace to do things differently. We slow down for families. We guide them gently through each decision, and we speak openly about what things cost. Most of all, we treat people like human beings.
Since then we’ve helped over 2,000+ Adelaide families say goodbye to the people they love. Embrace Funerals has become Adelaide's highest-rated funeral home, because we’ve never stopped doing what we promised ourselves on day one: Always care for every family the way we’d want our own family to be cared for.

Deanne founded Embrace on a simple belief: families deserve to be truly listened to. She sits with families during arrangements, hand-arranges your flowers and holds services as a celebrant.
